Privacy Policy
On this page
KeshAssist (“KeshAssist,” “we,” “us”) provides an AI assistant that manages your Google Calendar and Gmail through text message. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how to get it deleted.
If you have questions, email support@keshassist.com.
1. What we collect
Account information
Your name, email address, and phone number, so we can identify you, reach you on your chosen channel, and bill you.
Conversation history
The messages you exchange with the assistant. This is what lets it understand “move that to Friday” without you repeating yourself.
Commitments and notes you create
Facts and reminders you ask the assistant to remember — for example, “never book me before 9am,” or that a particular first name refers to a particular contact.
Audit logs of assistant actions
A record of every tool the assistant used on your behalf: which calendar event it created, which email it drafted, what parameters it used. These logs record what the assistant did, not copies of your data, and they exist so that questions like “why did it book that?” have a verifiable answer.
Website demo text
Text you paste into the draft demo on this website is processed once by our model provider to write that draft, and is not stored.
We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we store only a customer reference.
2. Google user data
KeshAssist accesses your Google Calendar and Gmail data through Google APIs, by way of our connection provider Truto, only after you explicitly grant permission, and only to provide the user-facing features of the assistant — reading your schedule, creating and changing events, searching and reading your mail, and preparing drafts for your approval.
We fetch on demand and do not warehouse your email content. Your messages and events remain in Google’s systems. We retrieve what is needed to answer the request in front of us, and we store pointers (such as message identifiers) rather than copies of message bodies.
For inbound email, we keep the sender, subject, date, and a one-line summary so the assistant can spot leads and unanswered messages; we do not store email bodies.
Specifically:
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not transfer Google user data except to service providers necessary to operate the service, to protect against security threats or abuse, or to comply with applicable law.
- Humans do not read your Google user data except with your explicit consent (for example, when you ask us to investigate a problem), where necessary for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.
KeshAssist’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke KeshAssist’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, where it is listed under the name of our connection provider, Truto. Doing so stops the assistant from reading or changing anything in your Google account immediately.
3. Email sending
The assistant never sends email on its own. It prepares a draft, shows it to you, and sends only after you approve it. This is enforced in our software, not merely as a matter of policy.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to operate the assistant, respond to your requests, send you the messages you have asked for, bill you, keep the service secure, and comply with the law. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
We do not use your conversations or your Google user data to train AI models.
6. Text messages (SMS)
In plain language
KeshAssist works over text message. When you sign up at keshassist.com/sms-signup you enter your mobile number and tick a box agreeing to receive texts from us. The box is never ticked for you, and you cannot submit the form without ticking it — giving us your number is always a deliberate choice.
The texts you get are:
- Daily schedule briefings — what your day looks like, sent each morning.
- Meeting reminders — a nudge before the calls that need preparation.
- Replies to your messages — when you text the assistant a question, it texts back.
We do not send you marketing or promotional texts, and we do not text you on anyone else’s behalf. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
To stop: reply STOP to any message. We send one confirmation and then stop texting you. For help: reply HELP, or email support@keshassist.com.
The full terms
By providing your phone number and using KeshAssist, you consent to receive text messages from us as part of the service. These are the assistant’s replies to you, and any proactive messages you have configured, such as a daily briefing.
- Message frequency varies — it depends on how much you use the assistant and which proactive messages you have enabled.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. We will confirm once, and then stop sending you messages.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@keshassist.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information is shared only with the service providers listed above, solely to deliver the messages you have asked for.
The consent wording on the signup form
This is the disclosure shown next to the consent checkbox on our signup form, word for word. Ticking the box is optional and is not a condition of purchase — you can subscribe without agreeing to receive text messages:
“By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Kesh Assist, including daily schedule briefings, meeting reminders, and replies to your messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. We will not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.”
We store the wording you were shown alongside your number and the date you consented, so there is always a record of exactly what you agreed to.
7. Retention and deletion
When your subscription ends, we disconnect your Google account immediately. We delete the connection at our provider Truto, along with any Google access we hold, and the assistant loses the ability to read or change anything in your Google account at that moment.
Remaining personal data is deleted within 30 days of cancellation. This includes your conversation history, notes, commitments, contacts and audit logs. We may retain a minimal billing record where required for tax or accounting purposes.
You can request deletion at any time, including while your account is active, by emailing support@keshassist.com.
8. Security
Access to production systems is limited to personnel who need it. For Google accounts connected through Truto, the Google access tokens are held by Truto, not by us. Any Google tokens we do hold are encrypted, stored with restricted access, and deleted when your subscription ends. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you promptly if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.
9. Children
KeshAssist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will notify you by text or email before it takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
